DESCRIPTION:Details: \n(Download the Flyer here.) \nCLIMATE SMART AGRICULTURE AND/OR AGRO-ECOLOGY: WHAT IS THE BETTER WAY\nFORWARD? \nWith Gertrude Pswarayi-Jabson and Nyasha Makaya \nGERTRUDE PSWARAYI-JABSON is Country Coordinator for the Participatory\nEcological Land Use Management (PELUM) Zimbabwe. For the past two\ndecades she has been working with Civil Society Organisations to raise\nconsciousness on agro-ecology\, food systems\, gender\, information and\ncommunication technologies and livelihoods on practical and political\nintervention level. She is an Earth Jurisprudence practitioner\, holds a\nMSc. degree in Development Studies and a BSc and a Degree in Journalism\nand Media Studies \nand \nNYASHA MAKAYA IS SCIENTIFIC OFFICER within the Resilient Farm and Food\nSystems program at the International Crops Research Institute for\ntheArid Tropics (ICRISAT) with longstanding experience. He has worked in\nprograms such as the Livelihoods and Food Security Programme (LFSP) and\nthe Zimbabwe Resilience Building Fund (ZRBF)\, and is currently working\nunder the TAKUNDA project in Masvingo and Manicaland. He holds a Master\nof Science (MSc) Degree in Crop Science (Agronomy) from the Midlands\nState University.
