For the past two<br \/>\ndecades she has been working with Civil Society Organisations to raise<br \/>\nconsciousness on agro-ecology, food systems, gender, information and<br \/>\ncommunication technologies and livelihoods on practical and political<br \/>\nintervention level. She is an Earth Jurisprudence practitioner, holds a<br \/>\nMSc. degree in Development Studies and a BSc and a Degree in Journalism<br \/>\nand Media Studies<\/p>\n<p>and<\/p>\n<p>NYASHA MAKAYA IS SCIENTIFIC OFFICER within the Resilient Farm and Food<br \/>\nSystems program at the International Crops Research Institute for<br \/>\ntheArid Tropics (ICRISAT) with longstanding experience. He has worked in<br \/>\nprograms such as the Livelihoods and Food Security Programme (LFSP) and<br \/>\nthe Zimbabwe Resilience Building Fund (ZRBF), and is currently working<br \/>\nunder the TAKUNDA project in Masvingo and Manicaland.
